Num tempo em que o mundo se rasga em conflitos, impotência generalizada e alienação, a M.A.R. – Mostra de Artes de Rua ergue-se como um sopro de resistência e de beleza partilhada. A rua, território comum, transforma-se num palco de escuta onde a arte desafia a indiferença. É preciso agir, somar, criar empatia. É urgente alimentar a esperança, e nutrir todas as forças, para manter viva a dignidade e o valor da vida humana. É preciso continuar a persistir, inquietar, contribuir, transformar. 

Espalhada por diferentes lugares da cidade, a M.A.R. cria uma cartografia viva, uma ligação profunda ao território — geográfico e humano. Cada lugar, no espaço público, torna-se um ponto de reunião, onde a arte ocupa, convoca, perturba e une. Abrigo num tempo de ruínas, é no encontro que se rompe o isolamento: uma afirmação de que a cultura é um direito, a proximidade um gesto político, e o coletivo a única saída possível.

At a time when the world is torn by conflict, widespread helplessness, and alienation, M.A.R. –  Street Arts Festival rises as a breath of resistance and shared beauty. The street, a common ground, becomes a stage for listening, where art challenges indifference. We must act, connect, and create empathy. It is urgent to nurture hope and strengthen every force that keeps the dignity and value of human life alive. We must keep persisting, stirring, contributing, transforming.

Spread across different locations in the city, M.A.R. creates a living map — a deep connection to both geographic and human territory. Each public space becomes a gathering point, where art occupies, calls, unsettles, and unites. A shelter in a time of ruins, it is in the encounter that isolation is broken: an affirmation that culture is a right, proximity is a political gesture, and the collective is the only possible way forward.
