As ruas são o lugar onde uma comunidade se reconhece. É nelas que a M.A.R. ganha vida, convidando artistas e públicos para uma experiência de encontro e proximidade.

Durante estes dias, deixamos de apenas atravessar. Caminhamos devagar, demoramo-nos e descobrimos o que nos rodeia com outros olhos. E, quando a perspetiva muda, transforma-se também a relação que construímos com o território.

Num tempo em que se esbate o que nos une, voltar a habitar o espaço público é um gesto urgente de resistência. As artes de rua têm a rara capacidade de transformar a passagem em encontro. 

Para que a cidade deixe de ser apenas o chão que percorremos e volte a ser o lugar onde somos.

M.A.R. – Street Arts Festival

Recognise. Inhabit. Reconnect. Belong.

The streets are where a community recognises itself. It is here that M.A.R. comes to life, inviting artists and audiences into an experience of encounter and closeness.

For a few days, we stop simply passing through. We walk slowly, we linger, and we discover our surroundings with fresh eyes. As our perspective shifts, so too does the relationship we build with the territory.

At a time when what binds us is fading, inhabiting public space once again is an urgent act of resistance. Street arts have the rare ability to transform passing through into encounter.

So that the city ceases to be merely the ground we walk upon and becomes, once again, the place where we can truly be.
